Shawn Herring was 31 years young when he contracted the Hantavirus and passed away. June 2015 Our entire world was turned upside down from particles of dust. Shawn was a cowboy through and through. From opening a door for a lady to providing for his family, he was top notch. He was very skilled as a horse farrier and he was a great cattlemen. He was also a husband, a father, uncle and a son.
The Herring family knows Shawn would have spent his days trying to help anyone who needed it here on earth. We want to make sure that legacy lives on. We want to help the families in our communities during times of hardship. We also would like to bring awareness to our communities that Hantavirus is present and can be harmful if not handled properly.
